Turkish Tourism Revenues Drop 2.6% in Q2

Tourism revenues in Turkey fell 2.6% year-on-year to USD 15.9 billion in the second quarter of 2026.
Individual expenditures accounted for USD 10.9 billion of total tourism revenue, while package tour expenditures amounted to USD 4.7 billion.
The largest share of spending was on package tours (30.2%), followed by food and beverages (21%), international transportation (12.4%), and accommodation (11.3%).
Compared with the same quarter last year, spending on accommodation increased by 11.7%, while food and beverage spending rose by 5.2%.
Meanwhile, spending on package tours declined by 5.5%, and transportation spending fell by 6.1%.
