Turkish Tourism Revenues Rise 9.9% in Q4

Tourism revenues in Turkey increased 9.9% year-on-year to USD 15.2 billion in the fourth quarter of 2025.

Individual expenditures accounted for USD 11 billion of total tourism income, while package tour spending made up USD 3.9 billion.

The largest shares of spending were on package tours (26.2%), food and beverages (22.8%), and international transport (13.6%).

Compared with the same quarter last year, spending on package tours rose 5.5%, accommodation grew 15.2%, and food and beverage expenditures increased 20.8%.

For the whole of 2025, tourism revenues rose 6.8% year-on-year to USD 65.2 billion.

Tourism revenues in Turkey rose 3.9% year-on-year to USD 24.3 billion in the third quarter of 2025. Individual expenditures accounted for USD 16 billion of total tourism income, while package tour spending made up USD 8.7 billion. The largest shares of spending were on package tours (33.6%), food and beverages (19.9%), and international transport (11.1%). Compared with the same quarter last year, spending on health services increased 20.3%, accommodation rose 17.3%, and food and beverage expenditures climbed 14.8%. For the first three quarters of 2025, tourism revenues grew 5.7% year-on-year, reaching USD 50 billion.

Tourism revenues in Turkey increased by 8.4% year-on-year to USD 16.3 billion in the second quarter of 2025. Individual expenditures accounted for USD 11.1 billion of total tourism income, while package tour expenditures made up USD 5 billion. The largest shares of spending were on package tours (31%), food and beverages (19.4%), and international transport (12.8%). Compared to the same quarter last year, spending on tour services rose by 12.5%, food and beverage expenditures climbed by 13.7%, and transport spending increased by 13.8%. For the first half of the year, tourism revenues rose by 7.6% from the same period in 2024, reaching USD 25.8 billion.
