The Economic Confidence Index in Turkey was unchanged at 99.5 in December 2025, remaining at its highest level since March.

Retail trade confidence improved more noticeably, with the index climbing to 115.4 from 114.2 in the previous month.

Sentiment in the real sector also increased, up to 103.7 from 103.2, suggesting a slight improvement in producers’ expectations.

The services confidence index also rose to 112.3 from 111.8.

In contrast, consumer confidence deteriorated, falling to 83.5 from 85, reflecting caution among households about the economic outlook.

The construction confidence index also edged lower to 84.5 from 84.9.
