Turkey’s consumer confidence index rose to 84.3 in August 2025 from 83.5 in the previous month.
The overall improvement was supported by stronger sentiment in current financial situation (70.0 vs 68.2 in July) and spending on durable goods over the next year (104.8 vs 102.3).
In contrast, forward-looking components weakened, with confidence declining in financial situation expectation for the next 12 months (83.8 vs 84.6) and general economic situation expectation for the next 12 months (78.4 vs 79.0).
Despite the modest improvement, the index remains well below the neutral 100 level, signaling persistent caution among consumers.
