The Swedish economy grew by 0.9% month-over-month in November 2025, recovering from a 0.3% contraction in the previous month, preliminary estimates showed.
This marked the first monthly growth in three months.
“After two weaker months, Swedish economic activity turned around in November, with growth in the business sector's service industries offsetting weaker developments among goods producers and public authorities”, says Asuman Erenel, economist at Statistics Sweden.
On a year-on-year basis, the GDP expanded by 2.7% in November, accelerating from an upwardly revised 2.2% growth in the preceding period.
