Consumer prices in St Lucia increased by 1.9% year-on-year in September 2025, following a 1% rise in the previous month. This was the highest reading since April, driven mainly by rising prices for transport (6.2% vs 2.3% in August), housing and utilities (0.6% vs. 0.2%), furnishings, household equipment, and routine maintenance (4.9% vs 3.8%), and miscellaneous goods and services (2.2% vs 0.6%). Meanwhile, prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages (-2.6% vs -2.8%), clothing and footwear (-0.7% vs -2.3%), and recreation and culture (-3% vs. -3.8%) continued to fall, though at a slower pace.
