Spain Tourist Arrivals Hit Record For July

Spain registered 11.539 million international tourists in July 2026, up 4.6% yoy and marking a new record for the month.
The United Kingdom maintained its position as the top source market, with almost 2.2 million tourists visiting in July, up 5.6% over a year ago.
France and Germany followed with nearly 1.6 million and 1.2 million tourists, respectively, with both markets recording 2.3% growth compared with July 2025.
Stays in paid accommodation increased by 4.0%, with hotels up 3.8% and rentals up 12.0%, while non-market accommodation grew by 8.0%.
The Balearic Islands were the most popular destination, attracting 22.3% of all tourists, a 0.1% increase compared with July 2025.
Catalonia followed with a 20.6% share, an increase of 0.8%, while Andalusia accounted for 14.6%, recording the strongest growth at 9.5%.
In the first seven months of 2026, the number of tourists who visited Spain increased by 4.6% and exceeded 58.1 million.
