Spain’s consumer confidence plunged to 66.9 in March 2026 from 83.9 in the prior month and marking the lowest level since November 2022, amid heightened economic uncertainty tied to the Middle East conflict and concerns over its impact.
Household expectations plummeted 21.8 points to 68.4, reflecting growing pessimism about the near-term economic outlook.
The assessment of the current economic situation also worsened, with the sub-index falling 12.1 points to 65.5.
