Spain’s consumer confidence surged to 77.7 in April 2026, recovering from a near 3.5-year low of 66.9 in March, as economic uncertainty linked to the Middle East conflict and its potential impact began to ease.
Household expectations jumped 15 points to 83.4, signaling reduced pessimism about the near-term economic outlook.
The assessment of the current economic situation also improved, with the sub-index rising 6.5 points to 72.0.
