Annual producer inflation in Poland accelerated to 2.8% in July 2026 from an upwardly revised 1.9% in June, exceeding market expectations of 2.3%.
It marked the fifth consecutive month of price growth and the highest reading since May 2023, driven by higher prices for mining and quarrying (3.8% vs 2.2% in June), manufacturing (3.2% vs 2.1%), and water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities (2.3% vs 2.1%).
On the other hand, prices for electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply fell by 0.8%, reversing a 0.8% rise in the previous month.
On a monthly basis, producer prices increased by 0.6%, following a revised 0.1% rise in June.
