Poland Producer Prices Hit Lowest in Over a Year

Producer prices in Poland declined by 2.6% year-on-year in January 2026, exceeding market expectations of a 2.3% fall and following a 2.5% drop in the previous month.

This marked the steepest fall since December 2024, amid continued declines in prices for manufacturing (-2.9% vs -2.8% in December 2025) and electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply (-2.0% vs -1.1%).

At the same time, producer inflation on water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities edged down (2.0% vs 2.1%).

Meanwhile, prices for mining and quarrying rebounded (2.3% vs -0.2%).

On a monthly basis, producer prices decreased by 0.3%, easing slightly from a 0.4% fall in the previous month.

Producer prices in Poland declined by 2.5% year-on-year in December 2025, more than market expectations of a 2.2% fall and a downwardly revised 2.3% drop in the previous month. This was the steepest fall in a year, amid continued declines in prices for manufacturing (-2.7% vs -2.4% in November), mining and quarrying (-1.7% vs -4.3%), and electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply (-1.6% vs -1.3%). Meanwhile, inflation picked up for water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities (1.7% vs 1.4%). On a monthly basis, producer prices decreased by 0.4%, reversing a 0.1% rise in November. For the full year of 2025, producer prices were 1.6% lower than in 2024.

Producer prices in Poland fell by 2.4% year-on-year in November 2025, slightly better than market expectations of a 2.5% drop but extending the 2.2% decline in October. This marked the sharpest fall since December 2024, as deflation worsened for manufacturing (-2.4% vs -2.3% in October) and electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply (-1.9% vs -0.8%). At the same time, price growth moderated for water supply and waste management (1.5% vs 1.9%). Meanwhile, deflation softened for mining and quarrying (-4.6% vs -6.0%). On a monthly basis, producer prices increased by 0.1%, reversing a downwardly revised 0.3% decline in the previous period.
