Poland Producer Prices Hit Lowest in Over a Year

Producer prices in Poland declined by 2.6% year-on-year in January 2026, exceeding market expectations of a 2.3% fall and following a 2.5% drop in the previous month.
This marked the steepest fall since December 2024, amid continued declines in prices for manufacturing (-2.9% vs -2.8% in December 2025) and electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply (-2.0% vs -1.1%).
At the same time, producer inflation on water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities edged down (2.0% vs 2.1%).
Meanwhile, prices for mining and quarrying rebounded (2.3% vs -0.2%).
On a monthly basis, producer prices decreased by 0.3%, easing slightly from a 0.4% fall in the previous month.
