Producer prices in Poland declined by 2.5% year-on-year in December 2025, more than market expectations of a 2.2% fall and a downwardly revised 2.3% drop in the previous month.
This was the steepest fall in a year, amid continued declines in prices for manufacturing (-2.7% vs -2.4% in November), mining and quarrying (-1.7% vs -4.3%), and electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply (-1.6% vs -1.3%).
Meanwhile, inflation picked up for water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities (1.7% vs 1.4%).
On a monthly basis, producer prices decreased by 0.4%, reversing a 0.1% rise in November.
For the full year of 2025, producer prices were 1.6% lower than in 2024.
