Poland’s industrial output fell by 1.1% year-on-year in November 2025, falling short of market expectations of a 2.7% increase and reversing from an upwardly revised 3.3% gain in the previous month.
This marked the first contraction in industrial activity since June and the lowest reading since February, as growth eased for water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation services (3.2% vs 5.9%).
At the same time, output declined in manufacturing (-1.4% vs 3.3% in October) and electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning (-2.1% vs 1.2%).
In contrast, activity increased for mining and quarrying (4.8% vs 4%).
On a monthly basis, industrial output slumped by 9.3% in November, easing sharply from an upwardly revised 5.5% rise in the preceding period.
