Poland Industry Confidence Worsens in June

The general business climate indicator for manufacturing in Poland fell to -6.0 in June 2026 from a three-month high of 4.1 in the previous month.
It marked the lowest reading since December 2025 and remained below its long-term average of +0.4, highlighting persistent pressure on industrial sentiment.
Elsewhere, business confidence weakened in the financial and insurance activities sector (24.4 vs 26.6 in May) and wholesale trade (1.6 vs 3.0), while it turned negative in retail trade (-1.6 vs 0).
In contrast, pessimism eased in construction (-0.7 vs -1.3) and transportation and storage (-0.6 vs -1.1).
Moreover, confidence improved in accommodation and food service activities (19.7 vs 14.7) and information and communication (10.2 vs 8.1).
