Mexico’s manufacturing business confidence edged up 0.1 point to 47.9 in April 2026, marking the 14th consecutive month below the 50-point neutral threshold.

Company outlook expectations improved 0.8 points to 56.2, while firms’ present situation assessments rose 0.6 points to 50.9.

The outlook for the national economy increased 0.4 points to 51.7, and investment willingness inched up 0.1 point to 34.1.

In contrast, perceptions of current national conditions declined 0.2 points to 47.6.
