The number of tourist arrivals in Macau rose by 17.8% year-on-year to 3.580 million in December 2025, easing from an 18.1% increase in the previous month. Same-day visitors climbed 23%, while overnight visitors jumped by 10.9%. Meanwhile, the average length of stay of visitors held steady from a year earlier at 1.1 days, with the duration of stay for overnight visitors decreasing to 2.1 days. By source market, arrivals from Mainland China grew by 22.6% to 2.51 million, with those travelling under the Individual Visit Scheme rising by 32.7%. In addition, visitors from Taiwan increased by 22.4% to 86.3 thousand, while those from Hong Kong grew by 3.1% to 652.1 thousand. In 2025, international visitors increased by 13.7% to 2.755 million.
