Visitor arrivals in Macau surged 173.1 percent year-on-year to 427,122 in February 2021, after an 80.5 percent plunge in the previous month, the first annual increase in tourist arrivals since October of 2019. Overnight visitors and same-day visitors soared 225.8 percent and 124.2 percent, respectively. Visitors from China were up 426.4 percent to 380,649, with 163,157 traveling under the Individual Visit Scheme (up 2,702.4 percent from last year).
