Indonesia Tourist Arrivals Expand 9.8% YoY

Foreign tourist arrivals in Indonesia rose 9.79% yoy to 1.20 million in November 2025, slowing from an 11.19% surge in the previous month.
Key source markets included Malaysia (18.81%), Singapore (4.82%), China (23.75%), Japan (7.75%), South Korea (1.4%), the UK (7.03%), and and Australia (4.39%), but arrivals fell from the U.S.
(-1.88%), India (-1.55%), and France (-3.44%).
In the first eleven months of the year, total arrivals increased 10.44% to 13.98 million.
The government aims to attract 14–16 million foreign visitors for the year, following a 19.1% surge in 2024 that lifted arrivals to 13.9 million, exceeding forecasts and marking the strongest post-COVID recovery.
