Producer prices in Finland increased 0.2% year-on-year in October 2025, recovering from a 0.3% decline in the previous month.
It marked the fifth increase in producer prices so far this year, supported by a rebound in the costs of electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning (7.8% vs -2.5% in September), while price growth moderated for water supply, sewage, waste management, and remediation services (2.0% vs 2.7%).
Additionally, prices in mining and quarrying fell at a softer pace (-4.2% vs -4.4%).
In contrast, deflation deepened for manufactured products (-0.3% vs -0.1%), weighed down by lower prices for paper and paper products, as well as basic iron and steel and ferro-alloys.
On a monthly basis, producer prices rose 0.3% in October, rebounding from a 0.4% decline in the preceding month.
