Finnish Economic Activity Shrinks 0.3% in December

Finland’s gross domestic product contracted by 0.3% year-on-year in December 2025, reversing a 0.3% expansion in the previous month.

This marked the sixth month of contraction in the economy in 2025.

On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, GDP shrank by 1.2% in December, following a downwardly revised 0.4% growth in the preceding period.
