Czech Republic Consumer Morale Hits 3-Month Low

The consumer confidence indicator in the Czech Republic fell to 108.2 in January 2026 from a downwardly revised 111 in the previous month, marking its lowest level since October.
The share of consumers expecting the overall economic situation to deteriorate over the next twelve months increased, while the proportion of households anticipating an improvement in their financial situation edged up.
At the same time, the number of respondents who assess their current financial situation as worse than a year earlier also rose marginally.
In addition, the consumers who do not plan to make major purchases over the next twelve months also increased.
