Colombia Producer Inflation Eases in July

Colombia's Producer Price Index rose 1.51% year-on-year in July 2026, slowing from 3.30% in June and marking the weakest annual increase since February.
Among the main sectors, agriculture, livestock, and fishing recorded the strongest annual gain at 8.69%, while manufacturing prices rose 0.44%.
In contrast, mining prices fell 4.77%.
The largest positive contributions to annual producer inflation came from pome and stone fruits (29.73%), citrus fruits (76.62%), and potatoes (93.51%).
Meanwhile, the biggest downward contributions came from crude petroleum and oils obtained from bituminous minerals (-7.65%), milled or green coffee (-20.17%), and coffee (-12.97%).
