Inflation Rate in Bermuda edged down to 1.9% in August 2025 from a seven-month high of 2.0% in July. On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose 0.1% in August, easing from 0.4% in the previous month. In Bermuda, the inflation rate measures a broad rise or fall in prices that consumers pay for a standard basket of goods. The most important categories in the country's CPI are: Housing (27% of the total weight); Education, Recreation, Entertainment and Reading (15%); Transport and Foreign Travel (13%); Health and Personal Care (13%); Household Goods, Services and Supplies (12%); and Food (12%). Fuel and Power, Tobacco and Liquor, and Clothing and Footwear account for the remaining 10%.
