Armenia’s economic activity jumped 11.7% year-on-year in May 2026, up from 7.1% in the previous month. The latest figure marked the largest growth since December 2025, driven by expansions in construction (27.1% vs 24.7% in April) and services (14.7% vs 8.2%). On the other hand, growth slowed in industry (9.5% vs 11.7%), while trade activity stagnated after a 0.1% rise in April. On a monthly basis, overall economic activity rose 1.2%, easing from a 6.0% jump in the preceding period.
