It was the second contraction since the third quarter of 2010, mainly boosted by drop in agriculture (-6 percent vs -6 percent in Q3); construction (-16.6 percent vs -3.9 percent); public administration (-20.2 percent vs -1.0 percent); electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (-0.29 percent vs -2.1 percent); and education (-3.0 percent vs -5.1 percent). In contrast, retail and wholesale trade increased 0.2 percent (-3.6 percent in Q3), real estate activities went up 19.2 percent (10.2 percent in Q3) , and manufacturing rose by 3.2 percent (from -1.1 percent in Q3).
