Turkish Capacity Utilization Hits Over 2-Year Low

The manufacturing industry in Turkey operated at 74.3% of its production capacity in April 2025, slightly lower from 74.4% in the previous month.
It marked the lowest reading since March 2023, as capacity utilization declined for non-durable consumer goods (72.7% vs 73.1% in March), consumer goods (72.6% vs 73%), intermediate goods (74.5% vs 74.8%), and durable consumer goods (71.9% vs 72.1%).
On the other hand, production capacity increased for investment goods (73.2% vs 72%).
In April 2024, the Turkish manufacturing industry operated at 76.7% of its production capacity.
