Sweden Producer Prices Fall Sharply in November

Producer prices in Sweden dropped 1.4% year-on-year in November 2025, following a 0.4% rise in October, marking the largest decline since June.
Prices declined 1.2% for consumer goods, compared with a 0.7% decrease in October, while capital goods also saw a sharper drop of 1.5% compared with a 1.1% decline previously.
Meanwhile, growth for energy-related products moderated sharply, easing to 2.8% from 15.2% in October.
Excluding energy-related products, producer prices were down 2%, compared with a 1.6% decline in the prior period.
On a monthly basis, producer prices rose 1.2%, the largest increase since January, following a 0.4% gain in October.
Domestic prices increased 1.8%, driven by higher costs for petroleum, machinery, metals, and vehicles, while import prices rose 0.4%, mainly due to increases in petroleum, computers, and machinery.
