The Swedbank Manufacturing PMI for Sweden inched up to 53.8 in November 2024 from a marginally revised 53.2 in the previous month.
This marked the fourth consecutive month that the index has been in the growth zone, driven by increases in production (56 vs 53.3 in October) and order intake (55.3 vs 53.2).
However, employment growth slowed (50.9 vs 52.1) and delivery performance deteriorated (51.3 vs 55.5).
Meanwhile, industrial companies remained optimistic about production plans over the next six months, with the index staying above the 60 mark for the second month in a row (61.5 vs 62.7).
On the price front, the index for suppliers' raw and input prices rose to the highest level in four months (55.5 vs 47.9).
