Producer price inflation in Spain rose to 0.7% year-on-year in October 2025, the highest since June, from a downwardly revised 0.2% in the prior month, mainly on account of prices of energy (1.9% vs 0.3% in September).
Additional upward pressure came from capital goods (2.1% vs 1.8%) and durable consumer goods (1.7% vs 1.7%).
Conversely, costs continued to decrease for intermediate goods (-0.5% vs -0.5%) and non-durable consumer goods (-0.7% vs -0.8%).
Excluding energy, producer prices fell by 0.1% in October, the same pace as in the previous month.
On a monthly basis, producer prices went up by 0.5%, reversing a similar decline in the prior month.
