Slovenia Retail Sales Growth Eases in April

Retail sales in Slovenia rose by 3.4% year-on-year in April 2026, easing from an upwardly revised 6.3% jump in the previous month.
Retail activity moderated for non-food products (4.8% vs 5.9% in March) and automotive fuel in specialized stores (12.9% vs 21.8%).
At the same time, sales declined in food, beverages, and tobacco (-0.7% vs 0.3%).
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, retail sales dropped 0.9% in April, sharply slowing from an upwardly revised 5.3% growth in the preceding period.
