Industrial production in Slovenia rose 1.7% year-on-year in June 2026, slowing from 4.2% in the previous month.

It marked the weakest annual growth since February, mainly due to slower growth in manufacturing output (2.5% vs 5.6% in May) and a worsening decline in mining (-48.5% vs -36.3%).

In contrast, output rebounded in electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply (5.1% vs -4.3%).

By product category, consumer goods production contracted sharply (-3.9% vs 8.1%), weighed down by a downturn in non-durable consumer goods (-3.7% vs 15%).

In contrast, output growth accelerated for intermediate goods (2.3% vs 1.1%) and capital goods (6.9% vs 6.3%).

On a monthly basis, industrial production fell 2%, reversing a 0.9% increase in May 2026.
