Poland Unemployment Rate Unchanged at 5.6%

Poland’s unemployment rate stood at 5.6% in November 2025, unchanged from the previous two months and slightly below market expectations of a 5.7% gain.

The number of registered unemployed persons rose by 6.3 thousand from a month earlier to 873.6 thousand.

Among them, unemployed men increased to 437.5 thousand from 432.5 thousand in October, while the number of unemployed women edged up to 436.1 thousand from 434.8 thousand.

The number of unemployed youth decreased by 1.1 thousand to 122.2 thousand.

Meanwhile, the number of job vacancies decreased by 32.8 thousand from the previous month to 38.8 thousand.

In October 2024, the jobless rate was at 4.9%.

Poland Unemployment Rate Ticks Up to 5.6%
Poland’s unemployment rate edged up to 5.6% in September 2025 from 5.5% in the previous month, in line with market expectations. This marked the highest jobless rate since February 2023, as the number of registered unemployed persons rose by 9.8 thousand from a month earlier to 866.1 thousand. In September 2024, the jobless rate was lower at 5.0%.
