Luxembourg Inflation Rate Picks Up to Over 1-1/2-Year High

The annual inflation rate in Luxembourg rose to 3% in November 2025, the steepest since March 2024, from 2.7% previously.
Upward pressure came primarily from prices of housing & utilities (7.44% vs 6.54% in October); education (6.17% vs 6.17%); recreation & culture (3.95% vs 4.04%); food & non-alcoholic beverages (2.78% vs 2.29%); alcoholic beverages & tobacco (2.34% vs 1.68%); transportation (2.26% vs 1.73%) and furnishings & household equipment (1.52% vs 0.57%).
By contrast, prices decreased for communications (-2.45% vs -2.11%) and clothing & footwear (-0.18% vs 1.20%).
On a monthly basis, consumer prices fell by 0.2% in November, the same pace as in the prior month.
