Imports to Lithuania rose 15.4 percent from the previous year to EUR 2.33 billion in July 2017, boosted by higher purchases of vehicles (34.4 percent), crude oil (22.3 percent) and electrical machinery and equipment (29.6 percent). Among major trading partners, imports rose from Russia (17 percent), Germany (17.3 percent), Poland (12.1 percent) and the Netherlands (32.5 percent). Imports in Lithuania averaged 1180.77 EUR Million from 1994 until 2017, reaching an all time high of 2498.60 EUR Million in May of 2017 and a record low of 153.20 EUR Million in October of 1994.
