Imports to Lithuania rose 12.6 percent year-on-year to EUR 2341.7 million in June 2017, as purchases increased mostly for electrical machinery and equipment and parts thereof (30 percent); crude oil (69.6 percent); machinery and mechanical appliances, their parts (17.7 percent) and land vehicles (10.9 percent). Excluding mineral products, imports by 17.2 percent. Considering the first six months of the year, imports advanced 16.6 percent to EUR 13,922 million. Imports in Lithuania averaged 1176.58 EUR Million from 1994 until 2017, reaching an all time high of 2495 EUR Million in May of 2017 and a record low of 153.20 EUR Million in October of 1994.
