Imports to Lithuania went up 7.4 percent year-on-year to EUR 2472.5 million in December of 2017, mainly due to machinery and mechanical appliances, their parts (19.4 percent), crude oil (19.9 percent) and land vehicles (23.8 percent). Considering full 2017, imports rose 16.5 percent to EUR 28.763 billion, mainly due to crude oil (48 percent), land vehicles (23.6 percent), machinery and mechanical appliances, and their parts (15.9 percent). The country imported mostly from Russia (13 percent), Germany (12.3 percent), Poland (10.6 percent) and Latvia (7.1 percent). Imports in Lithuania averaged 1203.68 EUR Million from 1994 until 2017, reaching an all time high of 2689.90 EUR Million in November of 2017 and a record low of 153.20 EUR Million in October of 1994.
