Ireland Wholesale Prices Drop to 3-Month Low

Wholesale prices in Ireland decreased 3.5% year-on-year in October 2025, following a 2.6% drop in the previous month.
This marked the ninth consecutive month of falling wholesale prices and at the fastest pace since July.
Prices for non-food products declined further (-4.4% vs -3.5% in September), led mainly by leather and related products (-1.3% vs -0.7%) and basic metals (-1.7% vs -1.1%).
Additionally, prices for food, beverages and tobacco rose 3.1%, easing from a 3.5% increase in the prior month.
On a monthly basis, wholesale prices went up 0.7% in October, rebounding from a 0.4% fall in September.
