Ireland Property Price Inflation Eases to 6.8%

Residential property prices in Ireland eased to 6.8% year-on-year in February 2026, following an upwardly revised 7.1% increase in the previous month.
House price growth slowed to 6.4%, while apartment prices edged up to 9.2% from 9.1%.
Regionally, prices in Dublin eased to 5.6% from 6.1% in January, while growth outside the capital rose to 7.8% from 7.7%.
Within the capital, Dublin City recorded the strongest house price growth at 6.8%, followed by Fingal at 2.7%.
Price levels also varied significantly across regions, with Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown posting the highest median dwelling price at €681,500, compared to the lowest in Donegal at €198,000.
On a monthly basis, residential property prices fell by 0.2% in February, reversing an upwardly revised 0.4% increase in the previous period.
