Irish Inflation Remains Elevated at 2.7% in October

Ireland’s Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) rose 2.7% year-on-year in October 2025, holding at its highest level since January 2024 and well above the ECB’s 2% target, according to a preliminary estimate.
Energy prices increased 2.7%, while food prices surged 4.6%.
Excluding energy and unprocessed food, the HICP rose 2.6%.
