Indonesia Tourist Arrivals Expand 11.2% YoY

Foreign tourist arrivals in Indonesia rose 11.19% yoy to 1.33 million in October 2025, accelerating from a 9.04% growth in the previous month.
Key source markets included Malaysia (17.19%), Singapore (17.70%), China (23.08%), Japan (16.16%), South Korea (26.64%), and Australia (5.37%), but arrivals fell from India (-2.31%), the U.S.
(-0.84%), and the UK (-0.05%).
In January–October, total arrivals increased 10.32% to 12.76 million.
The government has set a 2025 target of 14–16 million foreign arrivals, after tourism jumped 19.1% to 13.9 million last year, topping forecasts and marking the strongest recovery since the COVID pandemic.
