Finland Current Account Balance Swings to Deficit

Finland posted a current account deficit of EUR 249 million in February 2026, reversing a surplus of EUR 576 million in the same month a year earlier.
The goods account shifted to a deficit of EUR 263 million from a surplus of EUR 628 million in February 2025, while the services deficit widened slightly to EUR 337 million from EUR 323 million.
Meanwhile, the secondary income deficit narrowed to EUR 156 million from EUR 164 million, and the primary income surplus increased to EUR 506 million from EUR 435 million a year ago.
