Estonia’s producer prices rose by 0.8% year-on-year in February 2026, easing from an eleven-month high of 4.3% in the previous month.
Producer inflation slowed in mining and quarrying (1.4% vs 1.6% in January) and in electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning (1.8% vs 44.3%).
Costs in the manufacturing sector were unchanged (0.0% vs 0.4%), mainly due to softer price increases in wearing apparel, wood and wood products, chemicals and chemical products, and machinery and equipment n.e.c., which offset gains in beverages, leather and related products, basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations, electrical equipment, and furniture.
Meanwhile, inflation in water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities accelerated (4.1% vs 1.8%).
On a monthly basis, producer prices declined by 0.1%, following a 5.7% increase in January.
