Estonia March Inflation Rises to 3.1%

The annual inflation rate in Estonia slowed to 3.4% in April 2026 from 3.6% in the previous month.
This marks a 2-month low since February 2026 mainly driven by declines in costs for food and non-alcoholic beverages (2.6% vs 4.2% in March) and healthcare (2.8% vs 11.7%), catering and accommodation (3.1% vs 4.0%).
On the other hand, prices increased at a faster pace for transportation (9.2% vs 7%), alcoholic beverages and tobacco (8.3% vs 7.7%), housing (3.7% vs 2.0%), and education and childcare facilities (5.4% vs 0.9%), while clothing and footwear costs declined less (-4.3% vs -5.6%).
On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose by 0.8% in March, following a 0.0% rate in the preceding period.
