The annual inflation rate in the Czech Republic eased to 2.1% in November 2025 from 2.5% in the previous month, confirming initial estimates.
This marked the lowest reading since April, mainly due to slower price increases for food and non-alcoholic beverages (2.2% vs 3.6% in October), alcoholic beverages and tobacco (4% vs 4.3%), and furnishings, household equipment and maintenance (1% vs 1.4%).
Additionally, costs declined further for clothing and footwear (-2.1% vs -1.7%).
In contrast, inflation increased faster for transport (0.4% vs 0.2%), while it remained unchanged for post and telecommunication (at 5%).
On a monthly basis, consumer prices fell by 0.3% in November, reversing a 0.5% gain in the preceding period.
