Czech Republic Inflation Rate Confirmed at 2.7%

The annual inflation rate in the Czech Republic slowed to 2.7% in July 2025 from a six-month high of 2.9% in the previous month, matching initial estimates.
The downturn was driven by slower price increases for food and non-alcoholic beverages (5.2% vs 6.2% in June), health (3.2% vs 3.7%), and miscellaneous goods and services (2.8% vs 3.4%).
At the same time, costs declined further for clothing and footwear (-1.7% vs -1.5%) and transport (-1.7% vs -1.5%).
Meanwhile, inflation continued to increase for alcoholic beverages and tobacco (4.4% vs 4.1%) and communication (0.6% vs 0.2%).
On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose by 0.5% in July, following a 0.3% gain in the preceding period.
