Croatia’s Current Account Surplus Narrows in Q3 2025

Croatia’s current account surplus shrank to €3,931 million in the third quarter of 2025, down from €4,648 million in the same period a year earlier.
The services surplus eased to €8,905 million from €9,041 million, while deficits in goods and primary income widened to €4,882 million (from €4,580 million) and €821 million (from €399 million), respectively.
Meanwhile, the secondary income surplus increased to €729 million from €586 million.
For the first three quarters of 2025, Croatia posted a current account deficit of €1,285 million, compared with a surplus of €260 million in the same period of 2024.
