Meanwhile, prices slowed for transport (4.4 percent vs 5.9 percent) and recreation and culture (0.8 percent vs 0.9 percent). On a monthly basis, consumer prices went up 0.5 percent, following a 0.3 percent increase in March.

It is the highest producer inflation since January of 2013, as cost went up faster for energy (12.6 percent vs 7.1 percent in March) and non-durable consumer goods (1.7 percent vs 0.6 percent). Meantime, prices of capital goods went up 0.1 percent (the same pace as in the prior month). In addition, cost fell less for intermediate goods (-0.9 percent vs -2.3 percent) and durable consumer goods (-1.8 percent vs -2.6 percent). On a monthly basis, producer prices increased 0.7 percent compared to a 0.6 percent decline in March.

Meantime, government expenditure slowed (1.8 percent vs 2.1 percent in Q3). The contribution of net foreign demand was negative (-0.3 percent), as exports rose 9.7 percent (6.3 percent in Q3) and imports also advanced 9.7 percent (6 percent in Q3). On a seasonally adjusted quarterly basis, the economy expanded 0.6 percent. In 2016, the GDP grew 2.9 percent, compared to 1.6 percent in 2015.
