Corn prices climbed toward $4.00 per bushel, their highest level since late July, driven by strong international demand.
Global shipments since January have reached nearly 45 million tons, up 46.8% from a year earlier, cementing corn as the top US export crop in 2025.
On the supply side, the spread of Tar Spot and Southern Rust in US fields has curbed effective output, adding to upward pressure on prices.
Technical momentum has also drawn speculative and algorithmic buying, amplifying the rally.
