Chile Retail Sales Rise at Faster Pace

Chile's retail sales rose by 6.9% year-on-year in March 2025, accelerating from an upwardly revised 2.7% growth in the previous month.

The biggest contributors to this growth were electronics, household goods, and technology products (up 12.7%), followed by clothing, footwear, and accessories (up 13.0%), and miscellaneous consumer goods (up 10.6%).

On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, retail trade rose by 0.5% in March, after a 0.9% decline in February.
