Argentina Consumer Confidence Falls to Four-Month Low

Argentina’s Consumer Confidence Index fell 4.7% month-on-month to 44 in February 2026, marking its weakest level since October 2025.
All subcomponents posted declines, led by Personal Situation (-7.62%) and Macroeconomic Situation (-5.37%), while Durable Goods and Real Estate was broadly stable (-0.02%).
By income, confidence dropped across both segments, with a sharper fall among high-income households (-5.24%) than lower-income households (-2.28%).
Regionally, declines were widespread, led by Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires (-7.77%) and Gran Buenos Aires (-5.35%), while the Interior recorded a milder contraction (-2.26%).
On a yearly basis, the index was down 6.09% from February 2025.
