Spain Hits Another Tourism Milestone in October

Spain received 9.2 million international tourists in October 2025, 3.2% more than in the same month of 2024 and setting a new record for the month.
The United Kingdom was the main country of residence, with more than 1.8 million tourists and an increase of 2.8% compared to October 2024.
Germany followed with 1.3 million visitors, down 3.1%, and France with 1.2 million, up 0.1%.
The majority of tourists stayed between four and seven nights, totaling over 4.6 million and representing a 1.6% year-on-year increase.
Catalonia was the top tourist destination in October, drawing 21.4% of all visitors and seeing a 9.9% rise from October 2024.
The Balearic Islands followed with a 17.0% share but experienced a 1.7% drop, while Andalusia accounted for 15.4% of arrivals, up 4.2% year-on-year.
In the first ten months of 2025, the number of tourists visiting Spain increased by 3.5%, reaching almost 85.7 million, the highest level on record.
