Slovenia Tourist Arrivals Up 1.9% in June

Tourist arrivals in Slovenia increased by 1.9% year-on-year to nearly 810 thousand in June 2026, the highest level since August 2025, following a 10.1% rise in the previous month.
Foreign tourist arrivals grew by 2.1% to 652.5 thousand, with visitors mainly coming from Czech Republic (14.3%), Poland (15.2%), and the UK (26.1%), while arrivals declined from Germany (-16.9%) and Austria (-9.1%).
Domestic tourism rose by 1.1% to 157.5 thousand.
Overnight stays went up by 1.5% to around 2 million, with most tourists staying in mountain resorts (5.1%), health resorts (1.7%), and the capital (0.9%).
In the first half of the year, total tourist arrivals increased by 5.0% year-on-year to 2.941 million, while overnight stays rose by 5.7% to 7.285 million.
