Slovakia’s consumer confidence indicator declined to -24.6 in November 2025 from -22.8 in the previous month, reaching its lowest level since March 2023.

The deterioration was largely attributed to a weaker assessment of households’ savings expectations (-18.9 vs -14.3 in October) and a more pessimistic outlook on household finances (-12.9 vs -10.8).

At the same time, concerns about unemployment increased slightly (27.2 vs 27.1), while sentiment regarding the overall economic situation continued to deteriorate (-39.2 vs -39.0).
